I absolutely enjoyed making these two cakes. The tiara and the bow were firsts for me. They are both made of fondant and tylose to help them set up. Yes, I have made bows before, but not like this one! I've never had a real reason to. If I did one in the past, I certainly do not remember. (You know, old age?!?) I could be guilty and by all means feel free to tell me if I'm wrong.
This next week I'll be making a 3D Snickers Bar and the Giraffe again, plus a smash cake. If Becca is paying attention, I could use your help! (Hint, Hint!) Any one want to learn how to make these and want to come over, please drop me an email, I would be happy to show you! The more people who know how to decorate cakes, the better! There are a lot of people in this world and everyone of them have birthdays, eventually weddings, babies, plus the "showers" for these events too! WoW, That is a whole bunch of cake if you take the time to add it up.
