Dum Dum Da Dum (Tune of Here Comes the Bride)

I saw the bride!  She was beautiful and definitely NOT fat and wide!  Jennifer and Josh were married this weekend at the Chesapeake  Boat House.  Everything was amazing, I hope the cake was up to standards.  Black, hot pink, and white were her colors.

You are welcome to leave comments and let me know what you think of the cake (any cake for that matter).

The cake was duplicated from Kicca Cakes.  The bride found the cake by googling: Contemporary Wedding Cakes.  I thought it was a beautiful design and I tried to make it look as close as possible.

Thank you for looking and I'll be posting again when more cakes are finished.

Dr. Seuss Cake!

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish . . .
Oh! and do you know who speaks for the trees?
Did you ever read about Sam?  Sam I am? He does not like Green Eggs and Ham!
What about double trouble with flaming blue hair?
Seriously!  I thought curiosity killed the cat.  Apparently not, it's just in the middle of everything!  We know him as the CAT, The Cat in The Hat!

If you know these things, maybe you are a fan of the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss!

"Dr. Seuss" was a wonderful children's story book writer.  I could only imagine what kind of cake decorator he would have been.  Since he wasn't, many bakers are (Me included!)  This cake was originally designed by a stay at home mom, Kate.  Her cake was the inspiration for my creation.  I made it as close as possible to her design, but added a couple of my own ideas.  I hope you enjoy the cake, smash cake and cake pops!  I certainly enjoyed creating them.

New Photo's Coming Tomorrow!

Thank you to everyone who has placed an order.  This weekends cakes are ready for posting.  However,  It's really  late/early and I've had a very long day.  I want to let those who are diligently checking for this weekends cakes to know to check after lunch tomorrow.  I promise I will get them on the blog.  If you are truly "dying" and must see them right away, they can be seen on face book (Cake Snobs group).

Have a great rest of the morning.  It's time to get some sleep.  Sweet Dreams!
